About the Role

We are currently seeking an experienced Motor Coach Operator to join our team on a casual/part-time basis. This is an ideal opportunity for a driver looking for extra hours or easing into retirement.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate motor coaches in accordance with all traffic laws, company policies, and safety standards
• Transport passengers to and from designated locations, ensuring a smooth and timely experience
• Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and cleanliness
• Maintain accurate records of trips, mileage, and any incidents or maintenance concerns
• Communicate effectively with dispatch and team members to coordinate schedules and address issues
• Report any operational or mechanical concerns promptly

Qualifications

• Valid Class 1 or Class 2 Driver’s License with Air Brake (Q) endorsement
• Minimum 5 years of commercial driving experience, preferably in motor coach operations
• Clean driver’s abstract
• Strong knowledge of safe driving practices and regulations
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work independently and handle varying schedules

Requirements

• Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Ability to work extended hours and travel as required
• Physically able to perform inspections and assist passengers if needed
